About Sunshine Baking

"Hello, fellow cookie enthusiasts! I am Amelia, co-owner of Sunshine Baking.  As a young entrepreneur and student at the Paul School of Business at UNH, I am learning what it takes to run a business.  For as long as I can remember, mom's shortbread has been a celebrated family tradition.

 

Each year in December, our house would turn into a cookie factory, as mom would madly bake several dozens of shortbread cookies, package them in lovely red boxes with golden seals (very elegant), then give them to family, friends, neighbors, teachers, co-workers, and the postman, just to name a few.

 

We started Sunshine Baking in early 2021 so we could expand our circle of cookie recipients.  Whenever possible, eco-friendly materials are used, such as plant-based, biodegradable and compostable packaging, labels, and shipping materials. 

We also strive to use USA-based companies whenever we can.
